Custom or Store Bought Motorcycle Chaps for small female?

I ordered a pair of small women’s leather motorcycle chaps online- I live in the twin cities in Minnesota. They were said to fit a female that weighs 95-110 pounds. I’m 4′11 and about 100-105 lbs. They came in the mail and are too big. My question is it possible or better to have the chaps I already purchased tailored to fit me or with my size is it smarte to have them custom made? I am not looking to spend a lot of money since I do not have my own bike (not yet anyway!) but I do ride a lot and would like the extra protection. Any suggestions please let me know. Also, I would like to have them by next month for the flood run, so if tailoring will take over a month, then that’s not an option. Any suggestions of places or names to go to will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

You can trim the chaps to your highth. As far as the waist, have them altered if you really like them. A good quality pair of chaps are heavy, which is what you want. Good Luck..Ride safe
